Professional Championship Wrestling now has an on-site defibrillator.

Australian First Aid is a family owned and operated business which has been providing customers with cutting edge first aid equipment and training for over two generations, has generously supplied an on-site defibrillator at the PCW Academy and the South Eastern Entertainment Centre.

An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electricity which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm.

Put simply, these devices save lives and can increase the chances of survival from cardiac arrest by up to 80%.

Julian from Australian First Aid recently met with PCW Academy coaches and students to train how to use the defibrillator correctly.

  • Special thanks to Julian, Daniel and the team at Australian First Aid in making this possible!
