COVID-19 Event Ticket Refund Policy

1. Purpose
The purpose of this COVID-19 Event Ticket Refund Policy is to establish guidelines for ticket refunds in the event of disruptions or cancellations due to COVID-19. This policy aims to provide transparency and clarity to ticket holders regarding their rights and options during these uncertain times.

2. No Refunds Policy
2.1. General Principle
Under normal circumstances, event ticket refunds may be permitted under certain conditions. However, due to the unprecedented and unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in order to ensure the sustainability and continued operation of the event, there will be no refunds provided for event tickets purchased.

2.2. Force Majeure Events
In the event that the event is canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or modified due to COVID-19 or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the event organizers (referred to as “Force Majeure Events”), ticket holders will be entitled to a refund.

2.3. Ticket Transfer or Voucher Options
To provide an alternative solution and accommodate ticket holders, the event organisers may offer the following options:

2.3.1. Ticket Transfers: Ticket holders may be allowed to transfer their tickets to another person who can attend the event on their behalf. The ticket transfer process, terms, and conditions will be communicated by the event organizers through appropriate channels.

2.3.2. Vouchers: In some cases, event organisers may issue vouchers or credits that can be used for future events organized by the same entity. The terms and conditions for voucher usage will be communicated by the event organisers separately.

3. Communication and Notification
The event organizers will make reasonable efforts to communicate any changes, cancellations, or modifications to the event to ticket holders promptly. Communication channels may include, but are not limited to, email, official event websites, social media platforms, and event ticketing platforms. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to stay informed about any updates or changes related to the event.

4. Liability Limitations
4.1. Health and Safety Measures
The event organizers will take reasonable measures to ensure the health and safety of all attendees in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines. However, the event organisers cannot be held liable for any health-related issues or consequences arising from attending the event, including any exposure to COVID-19.

4.2. Third-Party Service Providers
The event organizers may engage third-party service providers for various aspects of the event, including but not limited to venues, performers, suppliers, and contractors. The event organizers shall not be responsible or liable for any disruptions, cancellations, or failures arising from the actions or omissions of these third-party service providers.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This COVID-19 Event Ticket Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

6. Policy Updates
The event organisers reserve the right to update or modify this COVID-19 Event Ticket Refund Policy as necessary. Changes to this policy will be communicated to ticket holders through appropriate channels.
